In partnership with DMZ – a world-leading incubator
Groundbreak Ventures has partnered with DMZ based at Toronto Metropolitan University to create a unique accelerator stream focused on property and home innovation technology. The program equips entrepreneurs with the tools needed to build, launch, and scale highly impactful startups.
Through its award-winning programming, DMZ has helped more than 800 startups raise $2.65 billion in capital and create 5,000+ jobs. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada with globally-accessible programming, DMZ has a widely-recognized international presence with offices in Vietnam, India and the U.S., and partnerships across North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
How It Works
DMZ and Groundbreak Ventures recruit a cohort of venture-backable, high-caliber startups and develop customized programming to help each of the startups grow and scale their businesses. Startups go through DMZ’s 18-month incubator program, and additional industry stream supports, enabling them to tap into additional growth opportunities like funding, industry-specific mentorship, connections to investors, pitch opportunities, and more, helping them increase their startup valuation and scale. Startups in the program are provided with funding, expertise, and network connections.
